Whether your child is having her periods for the first time or is a distant probability every mother should be aware off how to raise the subject and talk freely about it in their primary schools too.\u2018<strong>The girls who cope best with periods at primary school tend to be the ones who are well prepared<\/strong>, and that comes from the parents,\u2019 Claire says. Indeed, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fpa.org.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Family Planning Association<\/a> recommends talking to children about periods between the ages of five and eight.
